The Blackhawk™ USB510L JTAG Emulator is a very affordable and full-featured
addition to our product lineup for Texas Instruments TMS320, TMS470 (ARM), DaVinci
and OMAP families.
Portability of the USB510L is enhanced due to the very compact pod and because no
external power is required except for a USB connection. This makes the new emulator
very well suited for travel and use with notebook computers. Many of the older
and less-sophisticated parallel port and PCMCIA emulators cannot be used on modern
laptops and the USB510L is a faster, easier and cost-effective replacement.
Blackhawk is the first company to introduce a USB JTAG emulator for Texas Instruments
DSP’s and the new USB510L raises the standard for portability, reliability
and ease of installation. Two optional add-ons to the USB510L are the Blackhawk
FlashBurn utility and Blackhawk Isolation Adapter.
BHFlashBurn is a scriptable utility that follows the freely available Texas Instruments
API and algorithms for programming DSPs with on-chip flash. Blackhawk Isolation
Adapter, supporting 3.3-5.0 volt targets, protects from ground loop voltage, harsh
environments and new, untested designs.
The USB510L JTAG Emulator is also compatible with Code Composer Studio™ Flash-burn
utility.
